Lace Buttonhole Band
This is a sneaky way to add a
distinctive, filigree lace band, plus buttonholes all in one swell
foop! Since the buttonholes are only 1 St wide and 1 R tall, it
is advised that you knit a sample before purchasing the buttons.
Generally, satin Bridal buttons are perfect for this treatment.
If you use eyelets to mark the tension on your swatch, this is the
exact size of a single buttonhole. Take this with you when you shop
for your buttons. Since there’s a buttonhole EOS, you don’t
have to worry about aligning the buttons with the buttonholes. What
could be easier?
